Support | Cookie Issues Guide

If the Thinkwell website reports that your browser does not have cookies enabled when you try to login or register, follow the steps listed for your browser type to resolve this problem:

Microsoft Internet Explorer

  1. Close all of your Internet Explorer windows
  2. Start Internet Explorer again and click on Tools in the menu bar
    If the menu bar isn't present, hold down the Alt key and press t to open the Tools menu
  3. Select Internet Options...
  4. Under Browsing history, click Delete...
  5. In the Delete Browsing History window, click Delete files...
  6. Click Yes in the Delete Files dialog
    Note: this make take a few minutes to complete
  7. In the Delete Browsing History window, click Delete cookies...
  8. Click Yes in the Delete Cookies dialog
  9. Click Close to close the Delete Browsing History window
  10. Under Browsing history click Settings...
  11. Under Check for newer versions of stored pages click Every time I visit the web page
  12. Under Disk space to use, set the value to 100
  13. Click OK at the bottom of the Temporary Internet Files and History Settings window
  14. Click on the Privacy tab of the Internet Options window
  15. Under Settings, click on the Sites button
  16. Enter thinkwell.com (without a leading "http://" or "www") in the Address of Web site box
  17. Click Allow
  18. Click OK to close the Per Site Privacy Actions window
  19. Click OK to close the Internet Options window
  20. Reboot your system

Firefox

  1. Close all of your Firefox windows
  2. Start Firefox again and click on Tools in the menu bar
  3. Select Clear Private Data...
  4. In the Clear Private Data window, make sure that the Cache and Cookies boxes are checked
  5. Click Clear Private Data Now
  6. Click on Tools in the menu bar
  7. Click OK in the Delete Files dialog
  8. Select Options...
  9. In the Options window, click on the Privacy tab
  10. Under Cookies, click Exceptions...
  11. In the Exceptions - Cookies window, enter thinkwell.com (without a leading "http://" or "www") in the Address of Web site box
  12. Click Enable
  13. Click Close in the Exceptions - Cookies window
  14. Click OK in the Options window

In general, if you have any cookie-blocking software, you must make sure that "thinkwell.com" is on the "allowed" list.
